Biography
ASAL is an Italian electronic music producer and DJ who rose to prominence as one half of the acclaimed duo Armonica, whose impressive string of releases spans more than a decade of contemporary club culture.
ASAL’s diverse musical taste has contributed greatly to Armonica’s unique blend of different influences and sonic experimentations, which made them a staple on the live sets of some of today’s biggest stars and brought them to publish their music on some of the most prestigious best labels on the international circuit.
Their list of EPs features a highly praised remix of "Yamore" (in collaboration with MRAK) on Universal Records, which garnered rave reviews and is regarded as one of their standout works.
Armonica’s tracks “U Can’t Ctrl Me” and “Sacramento” have been featured on Afterlife’s Unity Pt.3 and Realm Of Consciousness Pt.VI compilations, leading to subsequent appearances at the label’s showcases, most notably in Tulum, Mexico, and Hï Ibiza. They further expanded their reach with the co-production of “Still Don’t Know What I Want,” released on Vintage Culture’s Promised Land VA.
In 2025, ASAL will be embarking on a solo career with new and exciting projects: the first one, an exclusive set at Afterlife Festival in Barcelona during Sonar week, with more music and live dates to be announced. This new adventure represents a personal artistic transition for the Italian talent, who is ready to develop his own vision and concept, bringing his eclectic Electronica to dance floors worldwide. Passionate about fashion and art, ASAL's creative approach extends beyond music, shaping a unique aesthetic and artistic identity that will define this new chapter.
